I have to say being a Pastor of a church is a lot like being a officer in the army. We can find many times in the bible where it states that as Christians we are in a spiritual war. As I read 1 Timothy 1:19 I can clearly see that this battle that we fight everyday has been happening for a couple thousand years. In the scripture Paul is reminding a young minister Timothy to hold his position in the battle and not be moved. He is also reminding Timothy that others before him had been through this same battle and they did not hold their position and their lives became as a shipwreck. Reader, let us be strong warriors in this battle, holding our faith and a good consience. Let us understand that to do good is to be a strong warrior.

When doing good seems impossible, do good anyway!

When life throws rocks at you, look up!
